Security Mobile Patrol Lead (Part time) (Weekends) (1500-2330)

Lead Star Security, a fully licensed and insured private security company, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our esteemed team as a Mobile Patrol Lead. With our headquarters in California's State Capitol of Sacramento, we proudly serve clients throughout Sacramento, the surrounding areas, and select locations across California. We are backed by a leadership team with over 45 years of combined law enforcement experience, including experience at the executive law enforcement level overseeing one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the State of California.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform patrol supervision and site visits to inspect & assist standing officers and patrol officers in field. May be required to physically fill vacant positions until replacement reports or end of shift.

· A Patrol Lead works closely with Operations on a day-to-day basis to supervise and manage staff.

· Responsible for conducting on-the-job training of new employees assigned to post, or when changes to post orders are made - this may include orientation to the post, review of post orders, routine responsibilities, and how to respond to emergency situations or specific client needs;

· Patrol Lead is responsible for maintaining all current BSIS licenses and ensuring a working knowledge of all posts within his or her of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Driver’s License and CLEAN Driving Record
• Current BSIS Security Officer License
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Possess HS diploma or GED
• Available Days, Weekends, and Holidays.

NECESSARY SKILLS:

· Minimum 1-2 years of lead or supervisor experience, professional-level experience required and prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement and/or military highly desired.

· Experience in scheduling, operations or other functions of security industry a plus.

· Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

· This position requires excellent attendance and punctuality. Patrol Lead must commit to being on time, must be able to work in a very independent environment, and ensure all directions and instructions from the cooperate office are followed consistently and thoroughly (such as delivery of items to client sites, training of officers at sites, standing post as needed, etc.).

· Ability to write effective and concise reports in neat, legible handwriting is required.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Outlook, considerable plus.

· Professional, mature, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

· Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
