This role will involve a wide array of responsibilities across the department, including opportunities to engage with external stakeholders, such as our Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) partners. Primary responsibilities will include reporting support, reconciliation completion, month-end support, and entry processing. Additionally, this role offers exposure to unique business functions, including accounting duties related to BaaS programs. In This Role You Will
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and rollforwards for a variety of accounts, with a primary focus on Banking as a Service (“BaaS”).
- Complete daily journal entries and ensure accurate entry processing.
- Perform month-end close functions, including reconciliation completion and reporting support.
- Assist in new BaaS program implementations and support traditional accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Receivable.
- Demonstrate a mindset that balances operational excellence with continuous improvement.
- Fulfill external, internal, and regulatory audit requests.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience
- Accounting or finance degree preferred
- Google Documents / Sheets or Microsoft Suite experience preferred
- Client obsessed mentality

- Strong judgment, instincts, attention to detail and analytical skills
- Self-starter, engaged, proactive and ready to roll up your sleeves
