Skill Level: Intermediate - 2 - 4 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
Position Purpose: Responsible for maintenance and repair of Dip Skids, equipment lubrication, and executing Weekend Work assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
- Works safely and professionally around moving equipment in Maintenance only areas.
- Consistently arrive on time, fit to work every day as scheduled.
- Repair, maintain, and/or replace locking mechanisms on Dip Skids.
- Manually lubricate chain conveyor.
- Manually lubricate chain conveyor trolleys.
- Track and record completed tasks on work checklist.
- Additional technical responsibilities as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Perform analysis of mechanical assemblies to determine required repairs.
- Ability to weld and fabricate simple structures.
- Capability to assist in the training of others on necessary skills to perform repairs.

- Functional computer skills using email and internet browsers.
Position Qualifications:
- Associates degree or certificate in Advanced Manufacturing and Welding preferred Or 2
- - 4 years of proven track record in industrial maintenance industry.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
- Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high).
- Required to stand and walk on concrete and steel surfaces up to 8 hours except for paid breaks.
- Required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment
- Required to always wear and tolerate PPE.
- Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per day.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs periodically for 2-3 minutes each time.
Work Schedule: Working shifts are 8 hours per day, day shift only, a minimum of 5 hours per week (40 hours). Regularly work on the weekend and occasionally on holidays.
