Job Type: Technical Industrial Cleaner
Reports to: Facility Manager / Supervisor
Department: North American Operations
Skill Level: Entry Level - Demonstrates consistent work ethic and commitment to completing routine daily cleaning tasks. Requires limited knowledge and/or experience.
Position Purpose: Responsible for cleaning assigned production equipment daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
- Works safely and professionally around moving equipment.
- Consistently arrive on time, fit to work every day as scheduled.
- Replace air filters for electrical control panels.
- Clean Sealer pumps using Simple Green cleaner.
- Inspect Sealer robot lubricators and refill as required.
- Clean Sealer build up on Sealer robots.
- Clean trash and debris within Drop Lifter Zones.
- Vacuum weld dust and debris from bottom of electrical control panels and robot controllers.
- Track and record completed tasks on work checklist.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
- Work ethic, integrity, and attendance are the most highly valued qualifications.
- No previous experience is required; however, ideal candidate will have cleaning or janitorial experience in an industrial environment is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
- Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high).
- Required to stand and walk on concrete and steel surfaces up to 10 hours.
- Required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment
- Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment.
- Will use broom, vacuum, scissors, Simple Green cleaner, and other cleaning tools.
- Will be standing or walking for all shift except for paid lunches and breaks.
- Will need to wear long pants and shirts, steel toe work boots, cut-resistant Kevlar sleeves and gloves, ear protection, and safety glasses.
- Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per day.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs periodically for 2-3 minutes each time.
Work Schedule: Working times are day shift, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week and with occasional overtime.
