What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Leadec?
Position Purpose: Responsible for oversight and/or administration of all human resources functions including but not limited to recruitment, retention, benefits, discipline and discharge, performance management, labor relations, and salary administration in a non-union environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Leadec's Core Values and promote a culture based on performance, innovative thinking, and continual high quality customer service.

- Responsible to present an image of professionalism in every aspect of the duties performed.
- Set and maintain appropriate staffing levels; coordinate recruiting, hiring, orientation and retention efforts at site with the assistance of onsite staffing agencies; participate as needed in employee terminations; participate in unemployment hearings.
- Maintain labor harmony by working together to accomplish goals that will benefit both employee and company.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues. Must have negotiation skills.
- Investigate out of standard behaviors; recommend appropriate actions based upon the facts of the case; communicate with Corporate People Services as needed.
- Facilitate compliance with federal and state employment laws, contractually agreed upon practice (if applicable), and Leadec Policies; stay current on employment laws and cases that could have an impact on our business.
- Coordinate the site performance management process; consult with operations to ensure the appropriate communication of employee job description requirements and performance evaluations.
- Assess Training needs for the team, apply and monitor.
- Look for new ways, methods to maintain and improve employee relations. Nurture a positive work environment.
- Ensure legal compliance for the site by following all Corporate Guidelines.
- Manage all site, human resources, and training records in accordance with Corporate Guidelines.
- Manage Payroll process for sites.
- Liaison between Corporate and any outside legal and professional resources to ensure all policies, laws and regulations are followed.
- All other duties as assigned by the Leadec Leadership.

Position Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Employee Relations.
- The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low to moderate); the employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office environment from 6-10 hours (normal); the employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- Office is in an industrial setting with some exposure to uncomfortable conditions (excess heat or cold, occasional electrical outages, and etc.); some lifting to 30 lbs. required to retrieve and store archived records as well as receive and store supplies.
- The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
