Position Overview:
I am seeking a highly motivated and skilled Real Estate Attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience in commercial real estate law. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong interest in real estate transactions and a background in joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, development, and construction contracts. The attorney will work closely with experienced legal professionals on sophisticated transactions, gaining hands-on experience in complex deal structuring. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review purchase and sale agreements for single-asset and portfolio transactions.
- Structure and document joint venture operating agreements and related partnership arrangements.
- Provide legal counsel on development agreements, general contractor agreements, and construction contracts.
- Handle loan documentation for both originations and borrowings.
- Advise on ground leases and other leasing transactions.
- Conduct and oversee real estate legal due diligence, including title, survey, environmental, and zoning matters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, investment teams, and external counsel to facilitate seamless deal execution.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.
- Admission to a state bar in good standing.
- 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate law.
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions, joint ventures, and financing structures.
- A resident of, or willing to move to Miami, FL
