Summary
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking AI Banking Product Manager to lead the implementation and integration of artificial intelligence solutions across our banking products and services. This role requires a unique blend of banking industry knowledge, product management expertise, and AI implementation capabilities to drive innovation while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and customer trust.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-driven products.
- Conduct user interviews with team members and executives from across the institution to understand business objectives and use cases.
- Translate use cases into business requirement documents and work with engineering to develop solutions, balancing innovation with practical implementation considerations, including legacy system integration.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert, keeping the organization informed on industry trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with data, engineering, and IT teams to integrate AI solutions with existing banking systems.
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle, including ideation, development, validation, launch, and training.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure performance and ROI of AI banking initiatives.
- Ensure all AI implementations comply with banking regulations including those from Fed, FDIC, OCC, CFPB, FinCEN, SEC, NCUA, and others.
- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to address regulatory requirements for AI in banking (BSA, GLBA, SOX, TILA, Dodd-Frank).
- Implement appropriate governance structures for AI model validation, monitoring, and documentation.
- Partner with vendor management to evaluate and select AI technology partners and solutions.
- Collaborate with the Bank’s Risk Management and Information Security teams to establish AI Best Practice, Security & Governance Framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated understanding of banking operations, products, and compliance requirements
- Experience implementing technology solutions in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts, use cases, and implementation challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with core banking systems and financial technology infrastructure.
- Knowledge of data governance and privacy requirements specific to financial services.
- Background in AI ethics and responsible implementation frameworks.
- Project management certification (PMP, Agile, Scrum).
- Understanding of AWS Bedrock, LLM Models and Snowflake (preferred).
