Qualifications
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (Required).
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance (Preferred).
- CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA certification (Highly valued).
- Experience:
- 5 years of FP&A experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in project-based accounting, cost control, and financial modeling.
- Experience working with Saudi and Egyptian financial regulations is a plus.
- Technical & Software Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel & Power financial analysis.
- Familiarity with e-invoicing and taxation systems in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
- Soft Skills & Language:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Financial Planning & Budgeting:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial plans for construction projects.
- Assist in the preparation of project cash flow forecasts and funding needs.
- Work with project managers and procurement teams to ensure cost control and budget adherence.
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting:
- Create financial models to analyze profitability, cost structures, and project feasibility.
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing for major construction projects.
- Forecast working capital needs, including accounts payable, receivable, and cash flows.
- Variance Analysis & Performance Reporting:
- Analyze budget vs. actual financial performance and provide insights on deviations.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and investors.
- Track KPIs such as EBITDA, cost per project, revenue margins, and cost overruns.
- Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement:
- Work with procurement and operations teams to optimize material and labor costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies for financial performance.
- Business Partnering & Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide financial insights to senior management and project teams.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and investors for financing needs.
- Support cross-functional teams in strategic financial decision-making.
