Quality Manager
Job Description
Maintains product quality by analyzing manufacturing, engineering and customer requirements and devising testing methods and procedures. Establishes product quality documentation by writing and implementing quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications
Must be capable of developing and overseeing procedures to ensure that all products meet customer expectations.
* Superior communications skills required to meet with vendors, suppliers, and production and engineering managers to make certain the company's quality programs are kept up-to-date to meet industry standards.
* Must be familiar with all aspects of production equipment, preferably in the metal stamping industry, as well as certain computer functions.
* Must be comfortable working with statistical breakdowns and have an ability with mathematics.
* Requires a degree in a business-related field and at least five years' experience in quality control.
* Experience with metal stamping a plus
* Requires experience in industry standards such as ISO, Mil STDs, etc. Requires experience in quality tools such as SPC, calibration, first articles etc.
