Stanislaus County Program Monitor- LCA
Leaders in Community Alternatives, Inc. (LCA) is a community - based criminal justice organization which has been providing services in California since 1991. LCA is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full-time Program Monitor vacancy in Modesto. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
The Program Monitor position provides support and structure to case managers. The Program Monitor will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the program and maintain control and security of the facility through personal engagement and oversight of juveniles. Supportive services include but are not limited to, data entry, answering phone calls, conducting intake assessment, support curriculum delivery through co-facilitation of groups. Additionally, the Program Monitor may be required to assist with the transportation of participants.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, AA Degree preferred.
Valid Driver License with clean DMV driving record and current automobile insurance.
Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Minimum of one-year experience in a program setting with this population preferred.
Desirable characteristics:
Program Monitor must be well organized, have strong oral and written communication skills, have cross-cultural sensitivity and competency, integrity, intelligence, enthusiasm, a sense of humor, and an understanding and respect for the criminal justice population.
Regular work days and hours: Monday through Friday from 10:00a.m. to 6:30p.m.
Salary: $18/hr. benefits
