Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) in Laurel, MD is seeking a passionate Afterschool Visual Arts Instructor to join our vibrant team. Compensation : 30 - $35
Responsibilities :
- Develop engaging visual arts lesson plans for afterschool programs catering to different age groups and skill levels.
- Purpose : To foster creativity and artistic expression among young students.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Purpose : To ensure a productive and safe space for students to explore their artistic abilities.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their artistic skills and techniques.
- Purpose : To support student growth and development in visual arts.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate and participate in art exhibitions and showcases.
- Purpose : To showcase students' work and celebrate their artistic achievements.
- Evaluate student progress and performance through assessments and feedback to adapt teaching methods and materials as needed.
- Purpose : To track student development and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
