Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Management:
Aid in the management of the organization's financial transactions, including invoices, receivables, and payments.
Maintain accurate records of financial activities and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Work closely with leadership to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Ensure that all payments are processed on time and financial records are up-to-date.
Office and Data Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring a smooth, organized work environment.
Coordinate internal meetings, staff communications, and scheduling to maintain efficient workflows.
Handle administrative tasks such as managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
Implement office systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Aid in data management systems tracking over 2000 participants and various recruitment avenues.
Summer Duties Include
The Onsite Manager for a 2,000-person summer internship program at Georgetown University plays a critical role in ensuring everything runs smoothly over the five weeks of programming. This person will coordinate daily meal logistics, working closely with catering teams to accommodate dietary needs and resolve issues like shortages or timing conflicts. They’ll also manage the setup and breakdown of event spaces, lead daily team meetings to assign tasks, and maintain clear communication with vendors to ensure services and supplies are delivered on time. Quality control is key; whether it’s inspecting dining areas, dorms, or event spaces, the manager will make sure everything is clean, functional, and ready to go. Each day, they’ll document operations, track inventory, and provide detailed updates to program leadership.
This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication is a must for working with staff, participants, and vendors, along with the ability to think on your feet to solve problems as they arise. Attention to detail is essential, especially when managing dietary accommodations and coordinating logistics for such a large group. The ability to stay calm and adaptable during high-pressure situations is critical. The role can be physically demanding and requires someone who is energetic, proactive and committed to creating a positive experience for everyone involved.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
