Permanent Quality Assurance Nurse needed in Erwin, TN , to join a community that is committed to provide and respond to the long-term needs of the community and region in which it serves. We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Nurse to join our team and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Job Summary :
The QA Nurse will oversee the facility’s quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role involves monitoring clinical processes, conducting audits, training staff, and implementing corrective actions to enhance patient care and safety.
Qualifications :
RN or LPN in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
Experience in quality assurance required.
Infection prevention and wound certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Ability to train and educate staff on compliance and quality improvement initiatives .
