Specifically, Director Of Nursing Job Duties Include
- Directing the nursing program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
- Overseeing hiring, firing, and development of nursing staff
- Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
- Developing a business plan and budget for the nursing unit
- Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
- Ensuring the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
Ideal Candidates Will Enjoy
- Earning competitive pay in the $130K to $140K range (*with the top end being reserved for RNs with long tenure & a track record of success as a SNF DON including strong survey results, team mentoring & retention, and resident satisfaction*)

- If needed, Relocation Assistance is available for the top candidate
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington (RN in WA)
- Previous experience as a clinical leader/ manager
- Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility regulations both State and Federal
- Stable tenure in prior jobs
- Measurable track record of success as shown through Survey results, stable staff retention rates, high or increased census numbers, etc.
- Upbeat and encouraging leadership style with clear communication of expectations & ability to mentor/ educate and grow future leaders
- Affinity for seniors & desire to see them well cared for and served
- Bonus - any experience providing healthcare to those needing mental health/ behavioral health care
