Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Last Mile Delivery Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of our last mile delivery operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation, and delivery management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement last mile delivery strategies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
2. Oversee the planning and execution of last mile delivery routes, including routing, scheduling, and carrier management.
3. Analyze and optimize last mile delivery operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
4. Manage relationships with last mile delivery carriers and vendors.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including customer service, sales, and logistics teams.
6. Develop and manage budgets for last mile delivery operations.
7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance last mile delivery operations.
8. Monitor and report on last mile delivery performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction, and cost per delivery.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 5 years of experience in last mile delivery management, logistics, or transportation.
3. Strong knowledge of last mile delivery operations, including routing, scheduling, and carrier management.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
6. Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
