Requirements
Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner
- Deliver quality, value-based, outcome-driven preventive health care
- Diagnose & treat acute and chronic medical problems
- Coordinate care with other providers and specialists, as needed
- Strive to improve health and happiness for patients and the team on a daily basis
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion
- Comply with medical care regulations and safety standards
Skills & Requirements of the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
- Compassion, empathy, and self-awareness
- Ability to multi-task, think critically, and find solutions to any problem
- Strong leadership and effective communication skills
- At least 1 year of experience as a PCP responsible for managing chronic & acute medical problems as well as initiating medications and other interventions to manage such problems
- Arizona Board Certified
- ACLS/BLS certificate
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
