Systems Administrator

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE
(U) The Contractor shall ensure, for the duration of the contract, that contractor personnel assigned to work under this contract maintain institutional knowledge and competency level necessary for all required skills, to include demonstrated on-the-job experience.
(U) The Contractor shall possess and provide the following required skills and demonstrated experience:
(U) Systems Operations
· (U) Demonstrated experience as a System Operations Specialist in programs and contracts of moderate size and complexity.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with Linux (RHEL, CENTOS, or similar).
· (U) Demonstrated experience maintaining a VMWare ESXi infrastructure.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with system monitoring such as reviewing memory or processes.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with general troubleshooting skills in MS Windows, VMWare ESXi and Linux and any additional adhoc IT related hardware and software related issues.
(U) Systems Administration
· (U) Using puppet or other software configuration management tool.
· (U) Managing Linux system patches.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with scanning and mitigating IAVA vulnerabilities.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with SYSLOG data and server environment.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with Linux (RHEL, CENTOS, or similar).
· (U) Demonstrated experience performing system administration with applications such Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby or similar scripting tools or software, etc.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with Database Administration.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with configuration management.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with system monitoring such as reviewing memory or processes using Linux commands such as top and PS.
· (U) Demonstrated experience with general troubleshooting skills in Linux, and Puppet.
(U) Systems Engineering
· (U) Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Atlassian Architecture and Suite of software products (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crowd, Fisheye/Crucible, and Jira).
· (U) Demonstrated experience administering the Atlassian Suite, writing JQL (JIRA Query Language), constructing Confluence pages, performing installations and migrations, and working with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, administration, 3rd party add-ons, etc.
· (U) Demonstrated experience using puppet or other software configuration management tool.
· (U) Demonstrated experience managing Linux/Unix system patches.
· (U) Demonstrated experience helping teams improve their utilization of existing tools across a diverse set of processes including intake, backlog grooming, sprint and release planning, test planning and execution, incident management, and problem management.
· (U) Demonstrated experience providing process and tools training for both individual users as well as new or established agile teams of varying degrees of size and maturity.
· (U) Demonstrated experience developing valuable metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters for end-users and business leadership.
· (U) Demonstrated experience documenting processes and standard operating procedures.
Vacation – 5 weeks of accrued paid vacation per year (i.e., 8.33 hours accrued per pay period worked)
