Line-X Paint Technician
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:00am, Friday 11:00am-3:00pm
Location: 2700 S Custer Ave, Wichita, KS 67217
Job Description
The LineX Paint Associate is responsible for preparing and painting LineX products according to customer specifications. This includes mixing and matching paint colors, preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint using various techniques AND moving parts.
Responsibilities:
- Mix and match paint colors to customer specifications
- Assist with moving parts from place to place
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers
- Ensure that all painted products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience in painting or a related field preferred
- Ability to mix and match paint colors
- Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
