Job Title: Medical Director/Physician - Family or Internal Medicine (MD/DO)
Location: Willimantic, CT (Medical Department)
We are a regional community health center covering a thirty-seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich, and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide a full range of primary care services, including physical exams, therapeutic and surgical procedures, patient education, and ensuring continuity of care.
• Provide leadership and oversight of medical care at the Willimantic site in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Quality Officer.
Qualifications:
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Family Medicine/Internal Medicine residency trained from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or board eligible.
• Eligibility for licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• Eligibility for Federal and State Controlled Substance Licenses.
Benefits:
• Base salary starting at $230,375 (compensatory salary based on experience).
• $5,000 bilingual stipend for verified Spanish fluency.
