Description of Role :

Our client is looking for an experienced Information Analyst Support who provides advanced administrative and technical support to Chief Counsel, management, and dissemination of data. This position involves frequent contact with various departments and other external agencies and organizations.

Tasks :

  • Statewide responsibility with respect to the final discipline judgment closing process, coordinating with staff statewide from the entry of a disciplinary judgment to file closing. Ensures timely and accurate dissemination of related information to appropriate entities.
  • Updates and corrects sanction and case information maintained in the Case Management System.
  • Responsible for database file retention records management, including updates and revisions to current retention schedules.
  • Prepares statistical and informational reports.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the case management software standard operating procedures manual.
  • Assists with training employees on the case management software, and provides routine technical assistance to department employees, troubleshooting software problems.
  • Research and drafts responses.
  • Performs other responsibilities as required.

Skills and Requirements :

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of related administrative, technical, office experience preferred.
  • Experience in using case management software, knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer databases, and experience in preparing statistical reports is required.
  • Position also requires technological competency, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access; Adobe, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
  • Skilled in problem solving ad critical thinking.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally on the telephone, in person, and in writing.
  • Must be proficient in typing.
  • Requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Requires exceptional customer service skills. Requires knowledge of personal computers, Word software, filing systems, telephone systems, and scanning / fax equipment.
  • Work Schedule :   Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm

    Job Type : Full-time, Temp - Indefinite

    Pay : $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

    Location :   Downtown Austin, TX (78701) Colorado St.

    This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of remote work and in office at the discretion of employer.
