What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sorter / General Labor, Entry Level, GFL, Chester, VA position at Leadpoint?

General Laborers / Sorters needed immediately to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Chester, VA. This is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean. EARN $13.59 AN HOUR! OVERTIME IS AVAILABLE UP TO 20 HOURS NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE! FULL-TIME WORK!

We need reliable, detail and safety-oriented Sorters who are at least 18 years of age or older and :

Have the ability to lift 25 pounds, as needed, and stand for your entire shift.

Are willing to consent to a background check. Leadpoint prides itself on being a second-chance employer.

Are willing to consent to a drug screen. This is a drug-free workplace.

Have reliable transportation to get to work although many of our facilities are located near a bus line. We also promote carpooling and ride sharing.

Prior warehouse, general labor or sorting experience is a plus, but not required.
