Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Revenue Operations, the Proposal and Revenue Operations Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of commercial proposal production and supporting deal structuring, sales enablement, and revenue operations functions. With minimal supervision, this role produces standard and non-standard commercial proposals, including responses to tenders and RFPs, while ensuring thorough review and approval processes. The analyst plays a critical role in protecting corporate interests, optimizing financial and operational performance, and minimizing risks.
Key responsibilities include gathering relevant information, preparing pricing sheets, drafting proposals, and ensuring alignment with corporate and customer objectives. This role works cross-functionally with teams to support deal execution, enable sales success, and contribute to revenue predictability and growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
Commercial Proposals and Deal Desk Support
Act as the primary producer for all assigned proposals, managing the process from initiation to final delivery.
Review and analyze internal requests and customer requirements to craft tailored proposals.
Conduct historical account reviews to ensure pricing consistency and strategic alignment.
Participate in defining proposal strategies by researching internal and external information and proposing creative approaches to pricing and offer presentation.
Organize and lead proposal preparation meetings with relevant stakeholders.
Review terms and conditions (e.g., contractual terms, delivery delays) to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
Develop and manage project schedules to meet proposal deadlines.
Assign and communicate tasks to appropriate teams, ensuring timely delivery of technical, contractual, and other critical information.
Draft responses to technical and commercial requirements, integrating input from stakeholders for comprehensive and accurate offers.
Perform peer reviews of proposals and pricing to ensure quality and compliance.
Sales Enablement and Content Management
Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) software, ensuring accurate and accessible data.
Manage proposal templates and knowledge repositories to standardize and streamline proposal generation.
Support sales teams by providing insights, tools, and resources to enhance deal execution and customer engagement.
Revenue Operations Support
Ensure proposals adhere to revenue recognition rules and financial compliance requirements.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams to align on contracting concepts, including letters of credit, bonds, and international trade regulations (e.g., Incoterms).
Utilize Salesforce and Power BI to provide data-driven insights into proposal outcomes, win rates, and revenue trends.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and tools for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
