The Client Sustainability team is looking for a talented new team member to support our work in carbon and renewable energy markets. This is a great opportunity for a professional early in their corporate sustainability career with exceptional data analysis, project management, and relationship management skills. Our new team member will primarily support our carbon credit program, and secondarily, our work with other market-based mechanisms (such as RECs and SAF); in addition to supporting operations on our team including project and partner tracking, building internal decks, and ad hoc research and analysis. The ideal candidate will be curious, analytical, organized, highly fluent in data analysis and management, and passionate about sustainability.
Responsibilities :
Program support : Support the administration of the carbon credit program, and potentially additional sustainability programming. Initial responsibilities include :
- Manage internal processes and documents related to vendor onboarding, RFP execution, purchase orders, invoicing, records management
- Lead the collection and organization of documentation for annual GHG footprinting and other forms of sustainability reporting
- Support strategy development related to Salesforce's engagement with the voluntary carbon market and other environmental markets
- Support the research and analysis of climate trends for topics like carbon markets and projects, the energy transition, climate policies and standards, AI, and more
- Create communications materials (presentations, memos, etc.) with internal and external stakeholder engagement

Required Experience / Skills :
4 years of related experience
Demonstrated analytical fluency, including a mix of qualitative and quantitative analysis

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Positive, team-oriented, hands-on, and flexible attitude
