Job Title: Operations Analyst I

Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office per week and 2 days work from home) at Indianapolis, IN 46204

- Majority will be EST, CST, and PST timezone but will occasionally need to accommodate additional global time zones

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension and potential for going perm

Pay Rate: $30-$32/hr on W2

  • The Employee Success (ES) Operational Readiness Analyst will drive our operational readiness for our global team as we refresh Workday to take advantage of the latest enhancements. We help new employees through mergers and acquisitions as well as expansion into new countries ensuring an amazing employee experience. Additionally, you’ll lead a variety of Employee Success programs as we continue to grow and develop with a focus on continuous improvement of processes & controls while ensuring a best in class employee experience


Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the HR program leads to evaluate pain points, use critical thinking and innovation to proactively identify and implement solutions.
  • Be a change agent to deep dive HR processes and identify where technology can be leveraged to refine or eliminate manual process steps. With implementation aid in the change management continuum.
  • Drive operational readiness by standardizing operating procedures, developing new processes, create, design and deliver educational materials to support changes.
  • Partner with ES People Services to ensure operational readiness at scale for the new employees harmonized via acquisition or new country entity.
  • Analyze data trends & develop action plans using data to support process change, program education and innovation.
  • Collaborate with global shared services teams to ensure consistency across applicable processes and implement changes where needed.
  • Regularly review and troubleshoot processes and HR data, and identify opportunities for further improvement.
  • Support data analysis work to provide relevant, actionable feedback to project teams on how to improve core HR programs and operations.
  • Build trusted relationships with key ES stakeholders, including legal and HR Compliance, to understand the objectives while partnering with subject matter experts to operationalize new or enhanced processes and programs while keeping effectiveness, efficiency and the employee experience in mind.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years experience in human resources including experience in shared services and/or an HR Operations role.
  • Ability to review technical processes and assimilate how the process constitutes a change in existing processes and determining the best way to implement and educate on the changes
  • Previous experience with Workday and case management tools preferred.
  • Prior project management experience, managing complex cross-functional projects, given multiple competing priorities is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of global HR practices, processes and programs.
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, and analytical skills required.
  • Experience with relevant HR systems, applications, and tools; metrics, data, and business intelligence tactics; and lean process improvement strategies (e.g., six sigma techniques) desired.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in an ever changing, growing environment.


An overview of a day for this role :

Supporting business critical initiatives such as M&As, GeoExpansion, Reduction in Force Process, or Optimization and Efficiency Gains

Typical day includes meeting with various stakeholders and meeting project deliverables such as reporting and analytics support or the creation of a project charter

Teachable skills: Tech-savvy mindset, Project Management

Optional skills: Experience with Workday, Stakeholder Management
