Contractor Job Description: Subcontracting, Legal and Professional Services Categories
Responsibilities Include
- Business Partnering
- Establish and maintain effective business partnerships and engage early with internal business partners
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Manage and update supplier dashboards monthly
- Track and record updates to the 360 Partner Spend Commitment Tracker
- Support ProServ team by performing rate analysis using 3rd party tool
- Sourcing
- Act as the sourcing expert for the assigned area within the Professional Services categories. (i.e., Subcontracting, Legal, Consulting)
- Manage RFPs and direct awards (not involving Tier 1 Suppliers) that includes pricing and commercial term negotiations while weighing in qualitative factors to deliver right value to the business.
- Continuous Improvement
- Assist with projects to enhance and streamline the sourcing and procurement process for the Professional Services categories. (i.e., Preferred Supplier Programs, Supplier Segmentation)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of direct experience in sourcing or managing services suppliers.
- 3-5 years experience drafting contract documents (Master Agreements, SOW's, change orders)
- 3-5 years experience in negotiations
- Experience supporting Professional Services departments.
- Experience within or working with Tech. companies.
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and appropriate dissemination of sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to make sound decisions and produce accurate and timely results.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced, multitask environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience interfacing with legal is strongly desired.
