TITLE: System Architect
LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
DURATION: 6 Months with possible extension
Rate: $80-$85/hr on W2
Job Description:
We're looking for candidates with strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks and proficiency in designing complex systems. The ideal candidate is self-driven, has excellent problem-solving abilities, and exemplifies leadership qualities.
Technical Skills & Tools:
- Programming Languages: Python, C
- Architectural Frameworks: TOGAF, Attribute-Driven Design
- System Modeling Tools: CATIA, Lucid
As a System Architect, you'll:
- Align system architectures with business goals and requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
- Apply systems engineering principles and methodologies to analyze and solve system design challenges.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs and architectures.
- Design and implement integration strategies to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve architecture-related issues during the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 9 years of proven experience as a system architect, systems engineer, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks
- Working knowledge in the following:
- Python, C , architectural framework TOGAF, attribute-driven development, modeling tools, CATIA, and Lucid
- Proficiency in designing complex systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security
- Experience with systems integration and interoperability practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with interfaces such as REST, DDS, gRPC etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years as a system architect/engineer, preferably in the automotive industry
- In-depth knowledge of software stacks in the automotive domain
- Understanding of typical E/E architecture and familiarity with standard vehicle architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Certifications in architecture frameworks or cloud platforms
