Description:
Job duties may include: management and development of new projects once data collection, research and analysis are executed; active research to design new projects and to prepare and present new ideas to improve current processes which impact the business; researching, collecting, and analysing data for the strategic decision-making process in new project developments...Education/Experience: Bachelor Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Possesses one to three years of experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:
Responsible for the transmission line design and/or overseeing a contractor who is performing the transmission line design for generation tie lines, reconductoring projects, and new transmission lines. Transmission line design projects will vary from 66 to 500 kV. Responsibilities include but not limited to ordering material, issuing drawing packages in PLS-CADD and AutoCAD, and quality assurance of contractor work. Responsible to attend project meetings and represent transmission engineering and provide project updates to stakeholders including schedule updates using provided scheduling tools.
