Description
Leaf Forge is a cutting-edge tobacco processing facility based in Pryor, Oklahoma. With construction completed in 2024, this facility spans 250,000 square feet and is adjacent to its parent company, Xcaliber International. This state-of-the-art processing facility employs advanced manufacturing and processing technologies to transform raw tobacco into the finished product used in cigarette production. With over twenty years of experience in manufacturing, Leaf Forge's parent company, Xcaliber International, has a garnered a reputation as being one of the top employers in northeastern Oklahoma. We are currently hiring a Quality Assurance Associate for the Leaf Forge location.
The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Associate is to ensure that the products manufactured meet quality standards, customer expectations and legal compliance. Candidate must be dependable, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated when working alone but also able to work well as part of a team.
DUTIES
- Analyze nearly finished product samples daily for quality, durability, safety and known product specifications before the final stage of production.
- Evaluate the materials routinely used during production, the work environment and components during production by running specific tests of quality.
- Inspect and test all incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
- Document quality assurance practices by entering data into logbooks, noting information in computer databases, and recording all inventory and actions.
- Ensure that during all parts of the production schedule that the product meets all guidelines related to federal, state, and local regulations that pertain to the industry.
- Communicate with management and other team members when problems arise and offer possible solutions to help correct any mistakes during manufacturing.

Requirements

- Attention to detail.
- Physical endurance and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
