Position Summary : The Financial Analyst FP&A is responsible for supporting the preparation of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting at the enterprise level. The position engages in financial reporting across all three financial statements, owns financial planning tools, and demonstrates expertise in reporting systems with a view to analyzing variances and improving forecasting. The role also provides analytical support on financial projects that help drive key strategic decisions across the landscape of different departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct weekly / monthly variance analysis on cost and key financial metrics to assess say-do performance, and identify business trends and areas for driving improvement in forecasting.
- Collaborate with other FP&A members and own weekly business reporting, revenue / margin flash, headcount reporting, backlog analysis, and various other reporting across enterprise departments.
- Own NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB) tool from an FP&A perspective to support the construction and consolidation of annual plan / various forecasting cycles and engage in user acceptance testing as business reporting requirement continues to evolve.
- Support modeling around Balance sheet / 13-week cash flow and improving reporting therein.
- Collaborate with other FP&A partners to support data requests around GL transactional details, vendor reconciliation for cash flows, spend variance, and payroll reports.
- Create and deliver impactful dashboards and presentations that highlight financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support better decision-making.
- Respond promptly to requests for critical ad-hoc analysis as needed.
