This position involves working with parents, supporting the staff, maintaining school organization, and assisting in the classroom as needed.
- A $300 hiring bonus will be provided after 120 days of full-time employment, contingent on good standing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Parent Relations:
- Welcome existing and prospective parents with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Direct visitors and provide support to parents with inquiries and needs.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with families through interactive communication.
- Administrative Support:
- Perform general administrative tasks, including maintaining compliance with state regulations, filing, and organizing records.
- Ensure the school environment is tidy and clean at all times.
- Assist with day-to-day office operations, providing administrative support where necessary.
- Classroom Support:
- Willing to substitute in classrooms as a teacher when needed, ensuring continuity of care and education for children.
- Engage with children in a supportive and educational manner.
- General Center Support:
- Support the overall needs of the center to ensure it runs smoothly.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff to improve the quality of care and education.
Job Requirements:
- Must be reliable, customer service-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, and written).
- A positive attitude, a love for young children, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Prior experience in a child care center or preschool setting is a plus.
- Ability to drive the school bus and willingness to assist in classrooms as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility with assignment and work hours.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
