Are you passionate about libraries, community engagement, and leading a team to provide excellent service? The Rondo Community Library is looking for an Assistant Library Manager to oversee adult reference services, manage library programming, and support daily operations. This position offers a dynamic mix of leadership, customer service, and community outreach.
- Lead and Support Library Services - Oversee adult reference services, including book collections, circulation, and assisting patrons in locating materials.
- Manage a Team and Library Programming - Supervise staff, coordinate schedules, develop engaging programs.
- Provide Direct Patron Support - Assist with reference and referral services, collection development, ensuring access to library resources.
- Ensure Smooth Library Operations - Oversee service delivery, address immediate facility concerns with maintenance staff, and ensure a welcoming library environment.
- Engage with the Community - Build relationships, develop partnerships, and create programs that support the educational, recreational, and cultural needs of the Rondo neighborhood.
