The City of Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Library Public Services Clerk I to provide administrative support work operating the circulation section of the library, providing assistance as needed in various sections of the library, assisting patrons in use of library equipment and locating library materials, maintaining records and files, and related work as apparent or assigned. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, computer skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a library, along with basic knowledge of policies pertaining to library services. This position works four to five days per week; 28 hours per week.
