The MPD Compliance Specialist provides quality, objective, and comprehensive audits and reviews of Minneapolis Police Department operations, internal controls, and systems to determine whether personnel comply with MPD's policies and procedures from a qualitative and quantitative perspective. Compliance findings are shared internally for follow-up and remediation and externally as summary data for transparency and to fulfill requirements of a settlement agreement with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and potentially with the United States Department of Justice.
