**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at Leah and Louise. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen, maintaining a smooth workflow, and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.

**Responsibilities:**
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper usage and maintenance for effective and efficient operation.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment following established procedures.
- Sort and stack cleaned items in appropriate storage areas, ensuring organization and cleanliness.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and tools, following sanitation standards.
- Empty trash cans, recycling bins, and compost containers regularly, maintaining cleanliness and proper disposal practices.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of dishes and utensils, supporting timely food preparation and service.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the dishwashing area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Support other kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, as needed.

**Requirements:**
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and working in a hot and humid environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

**Hourly Rate:**
The Dishwasher position offers an hourly rate depending on experience.
