Job Overview:
Our busy, boutique med spa is seeking a dynamic front desk team member on Fridays from 8:45 to 5:15. On Tuesdays and Thursdays this team member will be a medical assistant to our Medical Director/Injector from 12:30 to 5. We are looking for an energetic professional who is detail oriented, can multi-task, and who has experience as a receptionist or in customer service. No medical assistant experience necessary. Experience with booking software, specifically MindBody or Booker software is a plus. This individual will be the first point of contact for Leah Nickie Advanced Aesthetics, so a professional demeanor and appearance, and exceptional communication skills are essential.
This is NOT a summer position. Because this position has a fairly long training period, a one year commitment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients/patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phones, emails and texts in a timely manner
- Schedule all appointments for our four technicians and Physician
- Check out clients/patients after services, schedule follow-up services if needed, and handle all retail product sales
- Track inventory and and order products and supplies
- Maintain a welcoming, organized and clean reception area
- On Tuesdays and Thursdays greet and prepare patients for medical aesthetics procedures
- Complete medical treatment releases
- Take before and after images
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a front desk role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of skin care and medical aesthetics/spa treatments a plus
- Use of booking software particularly Booker or MindBody preferred
- High school diploma required; College degree not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
