The Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Leak Inspector Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional time management skills, a keen eye for detail, is comfortable with technology, and possesses strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
As a Leak Inspector Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing potential leaks in various settings, such as commercial or residential buildings. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying, analyzing, and documenting leaks accurately to aid our customers in mitigating damage to their homes and/or businesses.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of commercial and residential properties to identify potential plumbing and structural leaks, including concealed leaks.
- Utilize specialized equipment, such as leak detection devices, thermal imaging cameras, and gas analyzers, to pinpoint the exact location of leaks.
- Assist in the test of parts and equipment, as well as in the maintaining of proper parts and equipment stock levels – ensuring truck is stocked: air, nitrogen, smoke tests and dyes.
- Document all findings, including the location, size, and nature of the leaks, in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement effective leak prevention strategies.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to mitigate leaks and improve overall system efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to leak detection and prevention.
- Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to ensure that implemented solutions are effective.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding leak detection activities, findings, and proposed solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all inspections, findings, and remediation efforts after each inspection.
Requirements:
- Driver’s License & Clean driving record (required)
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Ability to utilize power tools.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously to ensure accurate identification and documentation of leaks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess the severity and potential impact of identified leaks.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to adapt to various work environments, including outdoor and potentially hazardous settings.
- Willingness to travel up to 95% to different locations for inspections as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
