What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Consultant position at Lean Marketing?
Lean Marketing is the home of Allan Dib’s best-selling The 1-Page Marketing Plan (Amazon’s #1 small business marketing book for three years running) and Lean Marketing. We help small and medium-sized businesses build or scale their in-house marketing.
We’re seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented professional with experience in marketing consulting, client & project management, and business systems to work with our extraordinary team at Lean Marketing.
Our Lean Marketing Accelerator helps clients create and implement a clear marketing plan using the strategies we’ve created over the last 15 years. We review current gaps in the business, identify low-hanging fruit opportunities, set goals and KPIs, consult clients on building a marketing team, and provide sound recommendations on specific marketing strategies, internal operation systems, and implementation plans.
Daily, you’ll correspond with our group coaching clients and their teams and keep them on track with 90-day goals, team training, and development, and the execution of various marketing and business strategies.
We need someone with professional insight and specific knowledge in various marketing sectors, such as content strategy, messaging, sales funnels, lead generation, lead nurturing, sales copy, and more.
In addition to learning more than you can imagine while working with great clients, this is an opportunity to work with a team of A-players, remotely. At Lean Marketing, we’re challenged, respected, and consistently given opportunities for growth.
Due to the remote and asynchronous nature of our team, the ability to organize, plan, and autonomously structure your workload will be absolutely critical to your success.

THE 5 NON-NEGOTIABLES OF THIS ROLE ARE:
- Marketing Experience. You will need at least 5 years of experience in marketing implementation across different parts of the funnel. You should consider creating solid messaging and copywriting as your strengths and enjoy creating overarching strategies. We are not looking for specialists
- Project Management. We need someone detail-oriented who can create internal systems for our clients and help them achieve results in the program. This program is done with you, so a considerable part of this role is being hyper-organized, project managing, and keeping clients accountable. You will occasionally have hard conversations with clients, as your goal is to get them over the finish line
- Killer People Skills. You’ll need excellent written and spoken communication skills as our program's point person and face. Most of your role will be communicating on Zoom calls day in and day out. We need our clients and our team to love working with you

Often, it will be your job to determine what needs to happen, when, and how. The attitude of continually starting things on your own is essential

- 30 days of paid vacation with an additional day off on your birthday
- 7 country-specific holidays
