Outside Marketing Representative Job Summary
Mobility City Durable Medical Equipment (DME)Marketing Representatives represent our brand in the local community. This includes visits to Assisted Living facilities, Nursing Homes, Doctors offices (orthopedic, cosmetic and reconstructive ), Chamber of Commerce events, skilled nursing facilities, in-home homecare providers and other potential.
This position may be part time or full time.
Essential Functions / Primary Responsibilities :
Develop a strategy to execute Mobility City’s Quad Marketing program. Divide the market into specific geographic areas, or quadrants.
Within each area identify targeted potential customers, or lead generators. The name of the business or facility and full address should be included.
More information will be added as their contacts and specific needs are understood.
Visit www.medicare.gov / find care providers to get an idea of potential targets. It’s necessary to use other sources to determine targets (Google, directories ).
Work with the franchise owner to develop a target plan to visit all of the facilities on an agreed upon frequency.
Before leaving the location have the days targets identified and the leave behind materials prepared.
At each stop attempt to get the name and / or business card for the person in charge. This may be an administrator, activities director, branch manager, office manager or patient advocate.
Each day make notes on each visit conducted. Highlight any follow up actions, key events or other items to be discussed with the franchise owner.
Other Duties and Responsibilities :
Participate in continuing education / training opportunities provided by Mobility City Holdings or their approved vendor partners.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED
Current valid drivers license
Pass criminal background check / drug screen
Skill Required :
Communication and interpersonal skills for frequent contact with potential customers as well others within the local community.
Ability to negotiate on a wide range of subjects.
Highly organized with good writing and follow-up skills. Finding creative solutions to gain acceptance of the Mobility City brand is encouraged.
The ability to speak with, and form relationships with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds with a multitude of different experiences and education.
Comfortable taking initiative and working somewhat unsupervised in the field.
Flexibility in required tasks as everyone in our small business accepts roles outside their area of expertise at times.
Physical Demands and Work Environment :

Ability to regularly stand, talk and walk extended distances in various outdoor weather conditions.
Must be able to exchange information accurately between potential clients and the franchise owner.
Strong attention to detail for inventory management, pricing, and adherence to processes.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constant objectives and goals to be met on a monthly basis.
Maintain a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
Must adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.
