What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Front Office Assistant position at Leap Ahead Learning Center?
Leap Ahead Learning Center is a large preschools serving the local community of Deerfield Beach since 1991. Leap Ahead is a NAC accreditation and Gold Seal program and provides care for 6 weeks to school-age children. The school focuses on providing a healthy and safe environment to all children while facilitating learning and executing an excellent curriculum for all preschoolers. We currently have about 16 staff members and 105 enrolled children. We take proud in maintaining a low teacher/children ratio.
Job Summary
We are seeking to hire an experienced, energetic and hard-working person to work as an Office/Administrative Assistant in our Preschool/Childcare facility. A bilingual person is preferred.
Please Note: Prior experience in a preschool facility is MUST (either as a class teacher or front office staff). Please do not apply if you have never worked with any preschool.
Candidate much be capable of supervising tasks such as support daily operation, basic knowledge of childcare operation, maintaining various logs, billing, managing center files and paperwork.
A successful candidate will possess strong organization and communication skills including team building, Conflict Resolution, and motivational skills.
- Creativity and marketing skills to connect with prospective families
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and content creation for preschool (videos, pictures and blogs)
- Managing content across various platforms for social media (Facebook & Instagram among others), marketing emails, applications and groups.
- Giving tours to new families and enrolling new children in the school
- Collaborate with staff for successful execution of events and marketing campaigns.
- Communicate effectively with our families, staff, and the community to promote events and preschool programs.
- Candidate much be capable of support daily operation, basic knowledge of childcare operation, skills to communicate effectively in answering phone calls etc.
Qualifications:
-Minimum education level - High School diploma
- Prior experience with Childcare facility
- multilingual (preferred knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese)
- Candidate must be computer literate. Excellent oral and written communication is must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
