Summary
As an Infant Teacher Aide, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Qualifications
Infant Teacher Aide. Livescan security clearance and ECE required. Teachers will need a minimum of 3 ECE units. One year minimum experience in an infant center in the last five years. References required to validate candidate experience. Skills will be verified with a hand-on interview prior to employment. Be prepared to provide transcripts showing course work, any degrees obtained, and class grades. Job involves lifting infants and toddlers throughout the workday as well diaper changing.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support the development and implementation of lesson plans tailored to the needs of infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
- Participate in special education initiatives and support children with diverse learning requirements.
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that promotes early childhood development and social skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
