Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our strategic entry into the residential landscaping industry. The CEO will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and growth of our residential landscaping business, driving operational excellence, and delivering superior value to our customers and shareholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision and business plan for the residential landscaping division, identifying growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive positioning strategies.
  2. Business Development: Lead the identification and evaluation of potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities in the residential landscaping sector, conducting due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessment to inform investment decisions.
  3. Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, production, and customer service, driving efficiency, quality, and profitability across the organization.
  4. Team Building and Development: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing leadership team and workforce, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to achieve business objectives.
  5. Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach to service delivery, ensuring the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction in every landscaping project.
  6. Financial Management: Manage financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting for the residential landscaping division, optimizing revenue, expenses, and capital allocation to achieve financial targets and maximize returns.
  7. Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and enhance brand awareness in the residential landscaping market segment.
  8. Vendor and Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry partners, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring reliable supply chain management to support business operations.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety regulations governing the residential landscaping industry, mitigating risks and liabilities to protect the company's reputation and assets.
  10. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with investors, board members, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates, performance reports, and strategic insights to foster transparency and trust.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 of executive leadership experience in the landscaping industry, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth, operational excellence, and financial performance.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop competitive strategies, and execute on business plans to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of the residential landscaping market, industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and quality craftsmanship.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented focus, resilience, and agility to adapt to changing market conditions and lead through uncertainty and complexity.

Salary : $175,000 - $300,000
