Overview

A rapidly growing restaurant group seeks an experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our procurement, logistics, and inventory management functions. This role is critical in ensuring our supply chain operations align with the company’s growth objectives, brand standards, and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy to support business expansion and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction, performance improvement, and scalability.

• Vendor and Supplier Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, focusing on cost efficiency, quality assurance, and ethical sourcing.
  • Oversee supplier performance through regular assessments and feedback.

• Inventory and Procurement Management:

  • Establish inventory control processes to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and prevent shortages.
  • Coordinate with restaurant locations to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
  • Implement technologies to streamline procurement and inventory tracking.

• Logistics and Distribution:

  • Manage logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Oversee transportation planning and warehousing to support multi-location operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during transportation and storage.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with culinary, operations, and finance teams to align supply chain initiatives with menu development, restaurant needs, and financial goals.
  • Support new restaurant openings by coordinating equipment, supplies, and product availability.

• Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members to foster professional growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
• Proven success in managing multi-location supply chains during periods of growth.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Salary : $125,000 - $180,000
