Job Summary
The LEAP Youth Development Program Transportation Staff plays a vital role in supporting educational initiatives and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for students. This position involves working closely with students, LEAP administration and Elementary School Administration to facilitate safe transportation from elementary school to LEAP. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to drive various types of vehicles as needed for program logistics.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles including 12 passenger and 14 passenger vans
- Ensure the safe transportation of children from school to LEAP.
- Complete daily transportation logs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving various vehicle types is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in educational settings or program facilitation is a plus but not required.
