Do you love sports and have a passion for teaching kids the power of teamwork? LEAP FC is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sports & Teamwork Leader to lead our athletic programs and help students develop leadership, cooperation, and problem solving skills through sports and physical activities.
As our Sports & Teamwork Leader, you’ll design and lead fun, interactive sports programs that go beyond the game—teaching kids the importance of communication, trust, and working together to achieve a common goal. From organizing team challenges to creating engaging physical activities, you’ll play a key role in shaping young minds both on and off the field.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and lead sports and teamwork activities that teach leadership, cooperation, and problem solving.
- Create dynamic, engaging lessons and drills that promote physical fitness, team spirit, and personal growth.
- Mentor students to build confidence, resilience, and a love for active, healthy living.
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and work together.
- Collaborate with other LEAP FC staff to integrate sports with broader educational goals and student development.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passionate, energetic leader with experience in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field.
- Strong skills in organizing sports activities and developing curriculum focused on teamwork and leadership.
- Experience working with children in a group setting, with a focus on physical activity, sportsmanship, and character building.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all skill levels.
- A team player with a collaborative mindset who’s excited about making a lasting impact on kids’ lives.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or camp setting (desired)
- Classroom management skills for organizing and leading activities (desired)
- First aid certification for handling any potential emergencies (can provide)
- Sports coaching experience or background in physical education (desired, willingness to train)
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
- Ability to develop and implement curriculum for sports programs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
