Since 2018, Leap has been a provider of innovative occupancy and risk management solutions for the multifamily and single-family rental markets. Its products serve to make apartment and single-family leases more affordable, providing insurance alternatives to security deposits and guarantors. Leap recently completed a Series A funding round, has annual revenue growth of 100% and will continue to grow organically and via acquisition.

About the Position:

As a Data Analyst, you will be driving business decision-making via data, analysis and insights by building and maintaining a data driven information engine. You will collaborate closely with all the teams across the business, fully immerse yourself in data, and deliver compelling insights and recommendations. You will be reporting to the Risk & Data Manager and will build and lead a team at Leap that owns all data analytics and insights related to our customers and markets. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis of complex product and user data and transform it into proactive insights and recommendations for the business.
• Identify trends and patterns that help our business make better decisions around performance, product enhancements, new markets and new products.Part scientist, part strategist, you will be driving innovation. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams on strategic and analytical projects, often acting as an independent strategic advisor to key business decisions. 
• Oversee the framework, organization and presentation of data, analysis and insights to the business, including constructing tables and dashboards, to effectively track and measure performance across the business.
• Assume ownership of preparing, monitoring, and reporting on company goals, metrics and milestones.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Data Analysis, or other relevant area of study
• 1-3 years working within a tech company in data analytics and business insights
• Experience with Data Analytics tools and visualizing data-driven insights for diverse audiences including senior leadership teams
• Experience working in a fast paced environment and ability to effectively prioritize projects
• Preferred skills include: Salesforce, Tableau, R, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Excel, Powerpoint
• Experience creating relationships across a rapidly growing and evolving organization
• Excellent communication skills
