Volunteer Board Member Description
Leap Arts in Education is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors! New board members will join a group of professionals contributing to an established non-profit bringing arts education to 9,200 Bay Area children. This is accomplished by :
- Advising and supporting Leap staff through thought partnership in key functional areas
- Attending monthly board meetings to steward the organization governance
- Actively planning and participating in Leap’s annual fundraising events :
- Sandcastle Classic, Leap’s cornerstone Ocean Beach event celebrating its 40th year in 2022!
- Creative ArtBar, an immersive, art-focused fundraising evening
- Helping set the organizational strategy in a yearly Board / Staff Retreat
- Contributing financially to the organization through individual fundraising or donations
- Observe 1-2 Leap classes to see Leap teaching artists and kids in action (as safety measure dictate)
