Responsibilities
1. Project Finance Analysis
Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support the evaluation and execution of project finance initiatives Collaborate with the project development team to prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports Build and maintain asset-level financial models used across the organization (Project Development, Business Development, and Executive teams) Conduct financial due diligence for potential projects, including reviewing project assumptions, contracts, and financial performance 2. Data Management and Analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze renewable energy project economics Develop and automate financial reports and models, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial data analysis Maintain and manage extensive financial databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility 3. Reporting and Insights
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for various stakeholders Support the Director of Project Development in presenting analytical insights to senior management, aiding strategic decision-making Communicate clearly to multiple stakeholders (Board of Directors, banks / capital markets, financiers, executives and team members) Support and improve the corporate FP&A processes (corporate modeling, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting) Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree 2-4 years’ experience in project finance, development finance, corporate finance, or related Proven experience in financial analysis, financial modeling or a related field, with a strong focus on project finance and investment analysis Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated ability to create detailed financial reports and models Understanding of the three financial statements Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to details and accuracy Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Proactiveness in identifying problems / opportunities and finding solutions Located in (or willingness to relocate to) the Bay Area Preferred Qualifications
