Print Production Assistant

Leapin’ Lizard Labels is a high energy custom label, sticker, and banner printer that focuses on our team and customers. Our team is fast-growing so flexibility and a willingness to learn is key. We encourage growth both personally and professionally!

This position works within a team environment and will report to the Production Manager. Problem solving skills, attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset are a must. We are a tight-knit team that keeps each other in the know.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Keep our production equipment running, producing high quality stickers, labels and banners for our clients.
• Light manufacturing- running printers and label cutters, stocking paper and production materials. Note: You must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Quality control- you are the last line of sight before our customer sees their product! You will be cross-checking orders against set up sheets, assessing quality of final product.
• Coordinating manufacturing production with our customer service team, design team and the rest of the print production team
• Troubleshooting equipment and quality issues - a patient approach to discovering the root cause and fixing the problem
• Assembling sample packets as needed
• Shipping final product- creating shipping labels and packaging product for shipment
• Other print shop duties as required

Skills & Mindset

• Operating large format printing and cutting equipment- Comfortable operating equipment and open to learning new equipment, technology and programs.
• Mechanically inclined, and like to work with your hands. ‘Making’ something makes you happy
• An eye for color - You can see color nuance, and you must be able to see the full spectrum of colors
• Detail oriented
• Willing to learn new things- open to ideas, open to change
• Entrepreneurial mindset- willing to jump in and do what is needed to delight our customers and our team
