Job Title: Project Manager (PM)
Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt; Hybrid In-person and Remote
Reports to: Project Director

Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality and regulatory standards required. The PM provides leadership and serves as a liaison between project team members to promote the interest of both the business and clients in all matters, as well as demonstrates the characteristics of a mid-level leader. The PM is the primary leader for the construction project
- Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP package
- Develop and manage the budget and resource allocation for all projects
- Ensure that all project documentation is filed and current
- Conduct project meetings including critical milestones and monthly client reports
- Establish job processes including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontractor change orders
- Generate project scheduling ensuring project control and overall project logistics are addressed
- Identify and resolve any potential obstacles or risks to project; provide timely communication to all involved
- Manage the closeout process to ensure timely occupancy
- Establish and maintain client relationship to stay current on potential needs and opportunities for continued partnerships
- Supervise all team roles assigned to the project; collaborating with site superintendent to address any concerns related to the operations of the jobsite
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 5 or more years’ experience in commercial construction and working with a general contractor
- Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects at the same time
- Demonstrate leadership in decision making, establishing and maintaining relationships
- Mastery level in in reading, interpreting, and updating construction related drawings for projects
- Ability to organize necessary resources (people, tools, time, budget) in order to meet deadlines to achieve results
- Proficient in project specific software; ProCore, Bluebeam, Adobe, CMiC, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate what needs to be immediately; multitasks effectively
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Interprets data and information and communicate insights and actions needed
- Demonstrates an understanding of all elements of a project fit together in context of the bigger picture
- Continuously develops skills and abilities and seeks opportunities to expand knowledge and experiences across market segments and complex projects
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationship within Leapley and externally within the industry
- Demonstrates the agility to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year degree from an accredited university within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations
- Previous experience on commercial job sites
