CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION: Leapros has been engaged by a growing fast paced organization in their search for a Staff Level Fixed Assets Accountant.
POSITION TITLE: Fixed Assets Senior Accountant
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fixed Assets will be responsible for fixed assets, leases, real estate accounting and maintaining Construction in Progress account. This role requires good communication skills to work with other departments on multiple ongoing projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Fixed asset accounting adhering to GAAP, including preparation of account reconciliations and analysis, and preparation of related journal entries on a daily and monthly basis.
Maintain fixed asset financial system records in an accurate and efficient manner.
Perform fixed asset audit for other locations, assisting with research and documentation support.
Prepare monthly Fixed Asset Roll Forward.
Prepare periodic reports relating to capital and non-capital expenditures spending.
Participate in month end close and assist the accounting team with ad hoc projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4+ years of Accounting experience (minimum 2 years of recent experience in Fixed Assets)
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Ability to work in high pressure and fast paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent Problem solving and time management skills.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: A reasonable estimate of the available annual pay scale for this position upon hire is: $85,000-$95,000. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
